So true. I had chemo and wouldn’t have passed on it. Wish companies would find alternative routes for testing.

It would be fantastic if this happens. Drug testing on animals is appalling and cruel.

It is appalling and cruel. But it’s difficult. My husband had chemo for a brain tumour. If he’d decided not to have it because the drugs had been tested on animals (undoubtedly) I’d have fought him tooth and claw over that. The article came from The Hadwen Trust, which is a charity devoted to the development of medicine without the enslavement of animals. I think the day is coming when alternatives will be in place.
